SCREENING: NEIGHBOURHOOD 15 (1948) / 12.30 – 1.30 PM / FREE ADMISSION
A Stanley Reed documentary commissioned by the County Borough of West Ham in 1948, Neighbourhood 15 details the history of West Ham; the damage it suffered during the Second World War and its subsequent reconstruction plans.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the audience led by Nick Edwards, and will consider the impact of the current wave of regeneration against the optimism of the post war effort.
