In 2010 artist Simon Pope walked a 26 mile route round the Park talking to local people about their memories of past Olympic and Paralympic Games. The resulting film Memory Marathon is a poignant celebration of the enduring importance of personal memories. For this evening’s event, Simon will show clips of the film and talk about this complex and challenging undertaking and reflect on its position three weeks before the Olympics and Paralympics begin.
