PREVENT: STREETHANDS PANEL DISCUSSION AND LAUNCH / 3 – 6PM / FREE ENTRY /
Streethands is a non-profit organization based in the London borough of Newham whose primary objective is the prevention of child homelessness caused by domestic violence in the home.
PREVENT is a forum for leading charities and professionals to initiate a public discussion of the issue of street children in London. The aim is to explore how our youth end up on the streets and the perils that they face once they are on the streets in the form of trafficking, homelessness, gangs and substance abuse.
We will explore the factors that contribute to a young person leaving home and how we can all work together to ensure that ‘Every Child Has A Childhood’.
